就是掩饰自己的悲伤,对每个人微笑.
What is happiness?
It is to hide one's sorrow and to smile at others.
I do not agree but perhaps some people do?
In last week's Japanese class, we were told that Japanese
always wear a mask.

Hmmm.... so chim lorz... :P Hide one's sorrow n smile is happiness? I DONT AGREE! i think that's self-deceiving? It may make others happy but one will still feels hollow n sorrow on the inside.
I think everyone need to wear a mask to live in the society. one juz cannot show ur true self to ppl u dunno. Personally, i think those who really show their true selves will not have friends.
Even I myself still dunno what's my true self is! Sometimes I even feel like I got split personalities! It's like when I'm with u all(ZX, SJ n RU), I can play ard n joke ard as I wish. But when i'm with my uni friends, I just cant seems to do the same. I also dunno y!

Among strangers, one would probably be smiley all the time. If you pull a long face, it's rude.
Sometimes it's because of complications that makes simplicity complicated.
